5A, 2005, acrylic on canvas, 20 x 60 inches

    Kelly says:
What does it mean can't imagine a grey hot?
    SP says:
I mean usually when people see red or bright colours, they emotionally or psychologically feel they are hot colours
    SP says:
That's an interesting notion that how human beings respond or relate their feelings to colours
    Kelly says:
    I see
    SP says:
Thus, it means colour has its abstract and representational two sides
    Kelly says:
    You can have warm grey
    Kelly says:
    Grey is the new black
    SP says:
    I know
    Kelly says:
    That's part of your thesis?
    Kelly says:
Then can you tell me why is gray "the" new color right now?
    Kelly says:
    I really don't like it
    Kelly says:
    jajaja
    Kelly says:
    hahah
    SP says:
    Because the world
    SP says:
doesn't work as an opposition of black and white
    SP says:
There are many grey areas in between, which suits how the world works
    Kelly says:
    That's true
    SP says:
Everyone should learn to understand this grey area and try to locate himself in this noisy world
    Kelly says:
But don't you think that people would still prefer black and white so that they feel safer?!
    SP says:
Yes, it is. So that's why grey is a new colour, a colour which we re-discover its meaning
    Kelly says:
I'm so tired of it though
    Kelly says:
You know fashion is all about colors
    SP says:
    I know
    Kelly says:
Of course there are new color combinations, but people always choose the safe ones
    SP says:
    Right!
    Kelly says:
At least most of the people do
    SP says:
You can choose a safe colour and try to give it a new coding…
    SP says:
    That's something about your design
    Kelly says:
Yeah, that's what I do. But I like to see completely different things
    SP says:
    ^^
    Kelly says:
Once you get used to just "update" it, one day you might become too lazy to invent
    SP says:
    Haha, I know
    SP says:
Perhaps you need to design something infinite or perpetual, hahah~
    Kelly says:
    hehehe
    SP says:
Isn't my suggestion very useful? ^^

You have to change the color here! Color! Color!
